Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Tech to support our 1st shift manufacturing at Morrison Cup Solutions. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. This role is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

 

This person will have full preventative maintenance responsibility across the following departments:

•  Offset printers used for printing plastic, paper, and Styrofoam cups.
•  Mechanical paper cup wrappers and bagging equipment
•  Lathe and mill equipment
•  Warehouse equipment
•  Other equipment

 

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Completing Preventive Maintenance for all assigned equipment and machines
• Perform routine maintenance on printing machines
• Ensure common parts are on hand to fix machines quickly
• Reduce machine down time
• Work in a fast-pace dynamic environment
• Assist in operation of machines periodically

 

The Maintenance Tech must possess the following qualities:

•  Dependable (must be at work on time)
•  1-3 years’ experience in related position
•  Must be mechanically inclined
•  Possess good organizational and time management skills
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Experience working on Offset printers a plus
•  Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
•  Must possess knowledge of electrical and automation, industrial motor controls, variable frequency drive and advanced PLC programing.
