Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in PLC troubleshooting, programing and wiring PLC logic to support our 1st shift manufacturing at Morrison Cup Solutions. The full-time day shift position offers excellent benefits and a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

 

This person will have full automation responsibility across the following departments:

- Offset printers used for printing plastic, paper, and Styrofoam cups.

- Mechanical paper cup wrappers and bagging equipment

- Warehouse equipment

- Other equipment

 

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Design and implement PLC Systems to control and monitor manufacturing processes

- Installing and configuring PLC hardware and software

- Program PLC's using ladder logic, structured text, function block diagrams or other programing languages

- Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems when they malfunction

-Maintain and upgrade existing PLC systems

- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to ensure the smooth operations of the manufacturing facility

-Troubleshoot mechanical problems and equipment

 

The Maintenance Technician must possess the following qualities:

- Must possess knowledge of electrical and automation, industrial motor controls, variable frequency drive and

advanced PLC programing.

- Dependable (must be at work on time)

- 1-3 years’ experience in related position

- Must be mechanically inclined

- Possess good organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work a Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm schedule

- Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups

- High/low voltage electrical experience

- Experience working on Offset printers a plus

- Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
